Hi, my name is Jeff Russ, also known as Mr. Magic to thousands of children all over the Kentuckiana area. I first started in magic when I was 13 years old after a cousin visited from Florida and showed me a couple of tricks. I thought that it was so cool that I just had to learn magic for myself. The magic bug bit me and I was hooked. All my teen years were filled with the pursuit of my next clever trick, waiting for the UPS truck to bring me my latest purchase from a far away magic shop. I spent many, many hours practicing my tricks and trying to perfect them. When I was a teenager I would try to perform magic tricks for anyone who would watch them, especially my loving parents.

Many years later in 1994 after trying several different careers, including Insurance Salesmen, Carpentry Supervisor and Retail Business Owner I was able to become a full-time Magician. It was slow at first doing only a couple of shows a week. Then it started to explode doing 300 shows a year, then 400, then 500, and now performing nearly 600 shows a year. I have to admit it is a lot of work, but I truly beleive it is one of the greatest things in the world to be able to work at something you really, really love to do. And believe me, I really do love my job.

All of my shows are especially tailored to be age appropriate and will always include lots of audience participation, slapstick comedy magic, hilarious puppetry with my sidekick PUFF the rabbit in the hat puppet and TONS AND TONS OF FUN – GUARANTEED.
